Had mixed entrée, consisting of prawn cutlet. Dim Sum, mini spring roll, curry puff and money bag, delicious was enough for the two of us. Main Chicken, with prawns and trio. Was more than enough for us, so asked for a container to take it home. Couldn’t believe it was actually charged for the container. Eaten in many Chinese restaurants first time ever charged

The food was precisely what we expected from a local Chinese restaurant. The spring rolls were great; hot and crispy. The beef and snow peas had a nice thick (lots of cornflour) and flavourful sauce. The broccoli was extremely limp and mushy. The chow mein sauce was quite flavourless and the pork rib with chilli salt was just covered in too much batter for our taste. A mixed bag so don’t expect it to blow you away.

We went there for dinner last night and was very pleasantly surprised. We had there before when it was in Bowral but since it had moved to Mittagong, this was our first time. Fabulous food and great staff. We are considering going there once a week. No MSG problems and servings are very generous. Highly recommend the House of Lowe.
