Get stuffed at Hog’s Breath Cafe Toowoomba! From 1994 we have been serving and supporting the Toowoomba community. Hog’s Breath Cafe Toowoomba is a locally owned family restaurant that proudly support local schools, charities and the Toowoomba Valleys RLFC. Our grey and truffle coloured building is located at 36 Neil Street right in the CBD opposite the bus interchange. We are walking distance from Queens Park, The Empire State Theatre and Grand Central Shopping Centre. We look forward to seeing you and deliver our famous Hog’spitality we are known for!

Upon entry to the restaurant, I was met with a lovely young person, polite, courteous and helpful, ushered to our seat. Ample time to review the menu and the waiter came and checked on us and we placed our order. 2 x Rump steaks with vegies and sauces.

Fantastic night out with friends, wasn’t too busy so it was quite easy to get a table. Price wise it’s a bit more costly than a standard “pub feed” but you do get very nice quality steaks. I myself got a bbq beef wrap and it was quite nice but lacked a decent amount of beef, overall though it was very tasty. The main attraction though was the curly fries, they would be up there as one of my favorite “chips” to this date. Well seasoned and nice and crunchy. Will definitely return here at a later date.

Steak was awesome, cooked to perfection. Prawns could use some work but otherwise was an all round great meal, staff where helpful and kind definitely recommend a visit here if your in town and looking for a decent steak. Best hogs breath I’ve been too in a long time

Visited Hogs Breath Toowoomba on the 16/09 for lunch after coming up for the Carnival of Flowers. Service experience from arrival to ordering, to serving of our meals was quite good, however from this point on the service deminished. The usual check in from the wait staff you receive at any restaurant didn’t occur, any attempt to flag someone down when you did see someone went unanswered and our next visit was when we were ready to leave. My Wife and I both ordered the Rib Eye steaks Lite cut Medium Rare, whilst our daughter had the Mac and Cheese from the kids menu.

Lovely meal and service was good. But what ruined the night for us was 1.5% charge for all card payments. Definitely won’t go back plenty of other places to eat without being greedy like that!

Unfortunately we had a terrible experience. Our drinks and meals took an incredibly long time to come out and when they did the steaks were incredibly over cooked and our kids meal order of cheeseburger came out with a bun so hard my 12 year old could barely bite into. The restaurant wasn’t busy enough to warrant the long wait we had for drinks and meals. Staff were however polite however did not show initiative in clearing plate or empty cups after entree.

Bought a sirloin steak and veg with curly fries, the veg was fridge cold, steak had a lot of fat and gristle at one end. Dessert took way too long to arrive at the table, they came one at a time, with enough time for them to be eaten before the next to arrive. Dreadfully slow…

Nice meals with steaks perfectly cooked although on the small size (traditional). No prime rib available when we visited just after lunch so the substituted Rib Fillet. Very quiet when we visited at Saturday 14:00.
