We are a 100% Aussie Steakhouse fixin’ up all kinds of things satiating; from melt-off-the-bone Baby Back Ribs to Prime Rib Steaks slow cooked for 18 hours! And we accommodate; we know not everyone these days is in hawg heaven when they get a plate full of big juicy red meat. If you’re after something lighter or vegetarian, you’ll be delighted by your options. Our menu is extensive and diverse; we serve up seafood, chicken, pasta, wraps, and salads in addition to our famous steaks and ribs!

The service was fantastic but I found that the atmosphere was a bit of a drag our table and chairs were uncomfortable similar to sitting on a park bench . The food was amazing except for the salad which was not to my liking but overall a pleasant experience.

This place wasn’t busy when we went – sort of sad really as I remember it bustling. Food was on point. Hubby had the coca cola brisket and I had the classic steak. It was cooked med rare as requested (sorry i didnt take photo as proof). Service was quick and easy – they removed plates promptly and offered dessert menus. Sticky date and churros were good. Have seen other posts where food wasn’t the best but perhaps it was a bad day for the chef and the team or they were really under the pump. Not an excuse of course but these things do happen. Overall a pleasant experience for us.

Surprisingly good visit. We hadn’t been back in years. The servers working there around 3.30pm were quite nice. Food was good, starters, main and dessert were really great, a lot better than last visit I remember.

This is my first time trying hogs breath at St Marys and i definitely wont be going back. I ordered a prime rib with chips and salad also fish and chips for the little one, the food arrived and the first thing I noticed is a black steak so i dig in and it’s burnt to a crisp and dry as a bone i asked for medium everything on my plate was terrible so i decided to try the fish and it tasted like it was frozen for 3 years literally tastes of cardboard. The only reason am not giving one star is because the staff had been friendly I didn’t bother telling the staff about the burnt food we just ate half and left this put me off hogs breath forever.

The staff were amazing! We were the difficult table, asking what was in the raw slaw (food allergies), asking for a deconstructed spider (aparently according to one of my friends the type of drink and when the icecream is added to it, makes a difference) which no doubt made the servers shake their heads but they were extremely nice and had a good laugh with us.

Waited over 90 minutes for steaks to arrive that were fatty and not cooked medium to well. All our veggies were cold. Staff did not seem to care about our complaints just offered an excuse as to why things weren’t good. Arrived at 7.30pm food arrived at 9.10pm. Was given a 25% discount not off total bill but off the meals only. Have eaten before and food was fine. Will think twice about going back.
