We received absolutely fantastic customer service tonight at Hogs Breath Cafe Nelson Bay. We stood outside for a bit wondering if it was pet friendly, when a staff member approached and asked if we wanted to dine in with our dog. She then took us through the restaurant to a table on the outdoor balcony area with a heater. Another staff member then brought him a bowl of water. He got lots of attention and pats. Thank you to all the staff, you were amazing Food was pretty good too

location is great. nice views from outdoor seating. tables were clean. staff were attentive. food is very average. overcooked and lacking flavour. basic and disappointing. let’s down a well positioned restaurant that could do so well.

Waste of money mushrooms were the worst ever dry and so over cooked did complain just got a sorry . Curly fries cold and soggy seems they had been sitting around since lunch! The steak was grey in appearance no char grilling. Salad was wet and soggy . Total waste of money and very expensive for what we got. Service was a minus not helpful at all .The waitress could see we did not enjoy our meal . I don’t think ever again.

Stopped in Hog Breath Nelson Bay twice while staying there. Both times for lunch. Didn’t make a booking and everytime we went we were able to be seated. If your sitting outside on a summers evening/night take a jacket or blanket it does get quite cool. Staff were very attentive and informative. Meals are always great. A little disappointed they didn’t have Curly fries, they had normal fries. All in all a good experience.

We received excellent customer service tonight, our waitress William was great and especially with our kids. He made them feel part of the dining experience and even entertained a drawering competion with their art work being displayed. They were very happy and could not stop raving about our waitress. Food was quick to come out.

We tried the vegetarian wraps and veggie burger which was good ! The staff here are quite friendly and the service was quite fast ! Located just in marinas and has ample of parking available!
