Been here a few times. This time we booked for Fathers Day. There were plenty of staff on but unfortunately no follow up to the seated table we were at. After being seated it took some time before our drinks and order were taken. It then took even longer for the drinks to arrive. Yet tables that entered after us were having their drinks taken to them promptly. We weren’t given or offered water and had to request it. We only had two glasses for four people and we asked for glasses and were told the bar staff would have to bring it to us. We never got our glasses. Mains with steak were probably the best we’ve had them. Loss of opportunity asking us if we wanted sauce with our mains as no up sell. The mac and cheese was pasta with runny cheese liquid and cheese sprinkled on top but it wasn’t even melted. We waited after having our dishes taken away and had to call a staff member over to request the dessert menu. We arrive shortly before 5.30pm and it didnt get busy til later so no excuse for the poor service. We understand there are learners on but on a day you expect it to get busy and not have staff attending to the tables more frequently?

I loved the food there, I ordered Steak and chips and it was just so delicious! My wife ordered it too and she was drooling when she saw the fantastic food they served, the kids ordered a kid’s meal, it was at a low price and served a lot of food. The service was five star and so was the place, it was a real treat for my family.

Great steak, delicious dessert too – service lacklustre though. Pretty much ignored as we waited to be served and eventually, fete they served another table that arrived after us – (making a total of 4 tables in the restaurant) I had to ask if they could take our order!! One staff member was great, the other needn’t have even been there!

Thank you to Makayla who didn’t miss a beat with her service whilst we dined on Saturday night. Many other waitresses would just walk straight past us but she didn’t hesitate to stop and tend to our needs (we had quite a few. Especially with the drinks requests flooding) Food was okay. Steak meals were the best of the night. Dessert was my favourite! I was tempted to leave with the cup load of half dessert still pending thank yous for a good night for our little families to catch up and thanks for not trying to rush us out due to closing time.

What a turn around from 2 years ago, had lunch Tuesday, food was back to what it use to be 3+ years back. Both times 2 years ago I had to send steak back, once it was uneadable but not anymore, my steak was cooked spot on & everyone else very happy with their food, service was great.

Absolutely recommended! We booked a table and dined here for my birthday and when we came in everything has been prepared including the high chair for my little one. The steak was amazing, the best one I had so far! My baby was so glad to have the kids menu that comes with the coloring kit. The service was very good and all the team members are so friendly. Also got a surprise birthday gift that I was not even expected for! Will definitely come back on other occasions.

The most amazing meal we’ve enjoyed at a Hogs breathe Cafe since 2017. We will certainly frequent this restaurant in the hope it will stay open!!! Our waitresses, Ali and Jackie were gorgeous and so friendly. Delicious meal, mouthwatering exceptional meal. Thankyou so much, we will be back!!

Ordered a burger with a gluten free bun and the bun was rock hard like a biscuit. The burger was very mid. I can see why no one goes to hogs breath anymore. Also was quite expensive, even charged us $2.20ea for sauce with the curly fries – without telling us when we ordered. Good service tho.

Empty plates and drinks weren’t taken by staff walking past. One of our entrees was missed and come later after we finished our 1st one then waited for the 2nd. Main meals were nice and generous. The service from staff is definitely not the same service I have experienced from Hogs in NSW. But overall I would recommend this place.
