Netty. Was. Here. Iconic backdrop of Newcastle Harbour, this fine establishment will have you sorted for a satisfying bite between swims at the beaches.

Great spot, excellent service, but the food is a bit hit or miss. We’ve been a few times and the food was good, but the last couple times the pies were old and hot dog buns were stale (maybe it was because it was later in the day)

Went on fathers day, two lovely girls were working. Even though it was extremely busy they kept their positive attitude and were friendly and polite. Though must say did see another guy walking through seemingly unhappy to be there and was disappointed in the way he could be heard speaking to the young girls serving. Continuing the Harry’s quality of pies and hot dogs, Newcastle’s franchise keeps it Harry’s real. Just squeaked in before 10pm closing time, but food was still up to spec of the original.

Went on Saturday night, 1 worker, who seemed overworked, signs for help wanted (short staffed) was definitely noticeable. I ordered regular chips with grated cheese. Chips were super crunchy which were nice, grated cheese was just thrown on top only some of it melted. Would be nice if there were chips, grated cheese, chips them grated cheese so it would have melted a bit better.

Great pies! Had the ‘Harry’s Tiger’ for dinner and it did not disappoint. Nice big hunks of yummy juicy steak in the pie, lovely service too. What more can you ask for?

EXPENSIVE, crazy prices, good food but not worth the price, silly hours. $20 for 2 very small portions of good hot chips and 2 cans of pepsi, NO COKE products. Great place right on the water but not worth the expensive price.
