We have been going to Grill’d Benowa Gardens quite regularly and it was always good and consistent. However, ordered two take away burgers and chips last week and it was absolutely rubbish. Guy even repeated our order on the phone which we confirmed but when we arrived home, we got a different burger than ordered and it was pitch black burned. Also the other burger was overcooked and not the same as before..Called the manager and the best he could do was offer a ‘free’ burger next time, which we basically already paid for. Nothing for the inconvenience. Won’t be coming back anytime soon!

How on earth do they manage to drown everything in sauce? Don’t they ever eat their own burgers? Even asking for only a little sauce goes unheeded. In anticipation of the drowning I ordered a burger without mayo, got a tub and was going to add it myself until getting home to find they had drowned it in tomato sauce instead. The patty wouldn’t stay between the buns, kept sliding out with every bite and sauce dripping all over the place, can’t win with this lot, maybe time to try another grill’d 🙁

Great burgers and the chips are nice and crispy. Service was good, fast and the young lady serving me was very helpful and friendly. Good family place. Food tasted very good , had the Simply Grill’d plus chips. Yummy

Terrible – bunch of kids who don’t want to work. Rang to place a takeaway order tho have two staff laugh at each other through the phone. Rang another three times and they acted as if they couldn’t hear me. I was in the car park.. walked in and stood there waiting while they blatantly looked at me until the girl filling the drink fridge had to ask someone to serve me. Grow up a little and do your job it’s not that hard lol

What is going on with this restaurant!? We’ve been going here for years, but it seems the staff these days don’t even want to be there. Terrible service, bad food, incorrect order on many occasions and when I raised that something was missing I was met with attitude from who I suspect is the supervisor. It’s run by children who clearly have no training or idea about customer service. Even though this is our closest Grill’d, we now prefer to drive out to robina or harbourtown just so we get decent service. I wouldn’t recommend this Grill’d. Try your luck elsewhere.

Venue was stinking hot, All.windows were closed and the air con was off. Service was undertaken by a young staff member who was not very confident and wasn’t getting support from the 4 other staff in the shop, There was a 40 minute wait from order being placed to being delivered to the table At 1pm on a Sunday it wasn’t very busy.

Good burger joint. Everything was great! The food quality is always the best at Grill’d and the it’s always a very clean space. Their bathrooms are tended to often and the staff do their best to make guests feel welcome. This is always appreciated it.

This restaurant was closed when the website said it was open on the 27th and 28th December 2021. Then I came in at 7:30pm on December 30th and they said they could not serve me, no explanation. In fact they just said “No” as I walked into the restaurant. Meanwhile there were multiple tables dining in and the Christmas hours stuck to the front door said open till 9pm. An explanation would be nice after the poor service.

Came for dinner on a Thursday night. As I arrived, the restaurant did not appear busy. I was not greeted at the door or offered a Local matters token. Ordering at the till was not as seamless as my visit to other Grill’d restaurants. My order was not read back to me and this caused an error- resulting in the wrong burger being brought out to my table. Following this the burger arrived cold. In future I will be visiting another Grill’d restaurant for my meals

Grilld what is going on with this store?! I ordered a vegan burger and got a burnt pattie. I’ve ordered them dozens of times and they don’t usually look burnt like this one did. When I arrived at the store the staff looked at me, didn’t greet me, instead walked out the back to take rubbish out. I waited, I could see my order sitting there getting cold. The blonde haired lady came back out and again – just looked at me. I had to ask the cook to pass the order to me. Minutes later the cook was asking the blonde haired girl if the pattie that he was cooking was cooked?! Shouldn’t he know that? I obtained a refund and got a hurried “sorry about that”. You will not get return customers at this rate. A very sad experience.
