Staff are excellent and seem to know what they are talking about so hats off to their training. We started in the bar down stairs and it was a great atmosphere and fast service the staff made yiu feel welcome. When we went up stairs the girl there was awesome and and even told us where the toilets were. The cocktails are great and well priced and all of the list is really good.

We arrived for an impromptu Friday night dinner without a booking, yet staff were super welcoming anyway. Boy we were glad they squeezed us in. We opted for the Feed Me $60pp banquet which was SUPERB!!! Absolutely S. U. P. E. R. B. An incredible variety of dishes, which were all full of flavour. We added the duck curry, which was another hit. Highly recommend you try it for yourselves .. we will certainly be back! Well done, Ginger Meggs.

Service was outstanding. Food was incredible. The flavours are nothing like I’ve had before. Beef Rendang was divine and I couldn’t stop smiling after every bite. The building is gorgeous too. Totally unexpected. Price was completely reasonable.

Decent food but pretty overrated and rude staff. The tables are really small and spaced out, we had a reservation and were sat at a table of 2 for 3 people. One of the dishes, curry with roti, had the smallest amount of curry in it, enough to just cover the bottom of the bowl, we mentioned this and they said that’s how it came. We’ve been before and had three times the amount and it was only enough curry to eat 1 of the three rotis, seemed pretty ridiculous

The food was delicious without question but the delay the get the mains was madness. It really slowed down the evening waiting over 30 minutes for the last course of the Feed Me option. I had to follow up my drink after my husband got his beer quickly but I had to wait almost 35 minutes. Good food but not really worth the long wait.

Turned up at 9:50pm on a Saturday night hoping for a quick cocktail after a nearby dinner. Walked into the downstairs bar which was 3/4 full of people. We were greeted by a server who told us they had just closed. I said that their website said they were open until 11 and the server responded with “that’s just the way it is sometimes, you’ll get over it”.

Food was amazing, $10 menu in the bar was great. It was super busy and we were a walk-in diner so the service rushed understandably. Atmosphere was busy but a good buzz.

You might like this place if you like dark alleys, satanic decor, bland bar food (downstairs) and like not having any non-alcoholic options, just $20 (tasty) cocktails and long food/drink waits. It’s literally down a dark alley with no lighting The drinks were pretty fancy though.
