Great spot for authentic Korean food and flavours. Friendly staff, good food and a cozy, vibrant atmosphere. We were a large group with a booking and they were reluctant to seat us inside until our whole group had arrived.

This rates in my top five Korean restaurants in Brisbane. The food is delicious, I was most impressed with the fried dumplings, only to be surpassed by the double fried chicken. It was crisp and had crunch, yet was tender inside. The sauces were perfect for the amount of chicken served. I would easily recommend Funny Funny for those wanting a great night out .

Used to like this place and has been here many times b4 COVID. Recently went there twice after COVID. Both time the friend chicken wing was cold inside. Complain the second time around and they just heat it up and bring it back, nice deco and can be a bit noisy inside. Service was ok but lack of staffs and everyone looks like they are rushing, Order via QR code. Clean and well maintained. Sadly it is difficult to recommend at this time unless further improvement. Currently hit and miss on the food.

When my friend and I entered the store, we communicated with the staff in English, but I was unsure if they heard our conversation in Chinese. I cannot be certain if other Asian customers have experienced the same issue, so I will provide an objective account. Here’s what happened: Initially, when we entered the store, there was nothing on the table. I requested a menu, but they told me to scan a QR code. At first, I thought this was the standard service for everyone. However, shortly afterward, we noticed that a Caucasian couple who entered after us received menus, already set plates, and water. It took us asking the server two or three times after we finished ordering and paying to finally be provided with water and plates. Please note that this is not a fast-food restaurant; we chose to dine inside, but the QR code indicated that payment should be made before dining. I speculate that they asked us to pay first because they were concerned about scaring away customers with their attitude. Later on, they informed me that I couldn’t order just one portion of grilled meat; I had to add another portion or cancel the order with grilled meat. I agreed to add another portion, and this time they provided me with a menu. After finishing the meal, I paid separately for the additional portion of grilled meat in cash. It is evident that they have a specific service sequence. Finally, I didn’t expect to encounter so many issues when simply relaxing and having a meal with my friend on the weekend. When I wanted to pack the leftovers, I politely asked for a container, but I had to remind them several times before receiving one container each time, totaling three containers. However, when I requested a plastic bag for the last time, a lady suddenly snatched a container away from me and informed me that I needed to pay for it. Yes, you read that correctly—she snatched it away! I asked her how much it cost, expressing my willingness to pay, but she repeatedly asked me the same question. I am confused by their behavior because the entire service process was very strange. Perhaps I have been fortunate so far, as the people I have encountered have generally been friendly and possessed basic human decency. I have heard rumors about such experiences, but I have not personally encountered them, so it feels strange.

Pretty average food and very expensive for what our group ordered. Staff were basically non-existent and very unhelpful + we got charged a service fee which seemed ridiculous and pointless considering we had to keep asking for help and food/drinks. The set up was for the kbbq was not ideal as we got a burner placed on our table which took us so much of the table space which left very little room for plates and other dishes for a group of 4.

The Jjamppong with udon was delicious, very spicy and had a nice strong garlic flavour. Big bowl of soup, but I wish they provided a little bit more noodles.
