We just had lunch at Frank’s and loved it. Fabulous space, great service and we even felt comfortable taking our 1 year old (she was very well behaved ). They do have high chairs by the way. The food was delicious, on the pricey side but good quality and delicious flavours. Would have loved a slightly bigger wine list and a bit more info about all the wines but the Two Tonne Riesling we had definitely satisfied. I’d definitely recommend

Great atmosphere, restaurant was well designed. Some dishes were a hit, others were a miss – we started with the roasted oysters which were done well. Ceviche was not bad, cola pork belly lacked the cola flavour (we only remembered that this was cola halfway through the meal), and Tira de Ancho lacked the usual fattiness. We ordered a medium rare, but this seemed to be cooked medium to medium-well.. Service was decent but rather curt.

I see now why this place was very highly rated and I’m glad we decided to try it. The atmosphere was great, the food even better. We had a steak, fried potatoes, and the lamb/beef with rice. The lamb/beef with rice was phenomenal and the potatoes were amazing. Would highly recommend and would return!

Modern Australian with Mexican nd Argentinian influences. Great Entraña (just missed the ñ on the menu!) with chimichurri and salsa picante. The mole with green rice was excellent, with the mole not too overpowering and the rice adding a touch of freshness. The ceviche was good as well.

Really exceptional food. Easy to see why it’s one of the great restaurants in Australia, not just Hobart. Both lamb dishes beyond great.

We ordered the 3 course menu. It comes with two starters, two sides and two mains. We enjoyed the variety and the creativity with taste. Not very impressed by the crispy pork but we love the steak (one of the mains), very tender with char on the surface. The salad was a little too salty when served with other dishes, we prefer a salad with a sweeter tone (ended up mixing the apple gravy from the crispy pork into the salad). Good atmosphere and service.

Excellent service and the food was good but not to the standard I expected. To start with we had the kingfish ceviche which was tender and delicious but not sure about the orange bits. Then we shared the octopus which was nice but not overly tender. Then we had the lamb shoulder slow cooked (just ok) and the scotch fillet steak which was a little tough to our liking. The fried potatoes were very good and the grilled zucchini had very little chorizo.

A pretty decent pick for dinner, lovely service. Our server recommended the Feed Me menu, which included three courses — a good mix of familiar & esoteric picks that we’d otherwise not order if not for the surprise menu. The steak was a little tough but still nice, and the entrees were definitely on the salty side; but the service really brings up the rating for me. I noted my food preferences and dislikes, and they were l careful to mention when a dish contained said elements. Water was constantly refilled, and the upbeat attitude of our waitress was lovely. The view of the harbour isn’t half bad either!
