The expensive option on the Island for food. But when your on holiday you should be able to live it up right Barramundi spring rolls a good starter, they must have run out of finger limes for the salsa, disappointing to not be told or discounted, as I think they were probably the most expensive ingredient of the dish and MIA. Chilli prawn and mango salad, 3 prawns, no fresh mango, just some sloppy mango mash. Pesto Barramundi, no candy to the walnuts, again not to be told or discounted is just annoying and not professional.

We have just returned to mainland this morning and we were very pleased indeed about Emerald Restaurant on Green Island. We found the food to be really good and it’s not as if we haven’t dined out before, or in top 5 star places. Our food always came at an appropriate pace and was beautifully cooked and presented. The staff were exceptionally friendly and did a great job always with a smile. As for the birds? Well, that’s island life. Dont worry about it.

Lovely restaurant with open air dining in the perfect location. Wait staff were fantastic, very attentive, polite and prompt. Particularly the lovely waitress who we noticed was there for breakfast, lunch and dinner, yet still smiling and moving just as quickly at the end of the night. Food and cocktails were very good and very reasonable prices. Most resorts on islands would charge more as they are the only option, this was not the case here. Very fair prices, good service and good value. Those who’ve complained, clearly are not used to visiting resorts. Will done Emeralds!

Lovely island, but emerald has a monopoly on dinner options and so, at least in the off season, is able to sell sub-standard meals for usually over $40. It took over an hour for our meals to come (while the restaurant was nearly empty), one meal was forgotten and another had gone off and was cold (it looked like it had been kept from the previous night). Some meals were OK, most were bad. It’s enough to put someone of coming to the island given the lack of other options.

I was not served as I only ordered a side ( staff member was kind of rude about it aswell) I could not order anything on their menu due to food intolerances and allergies from my chronic illness, I though the restaurant was beautiful and wanted to sit inside and have a drink and a side of chips but was told I could not be served, there was only 4 other people in the restaurant at this time, I was very disappointed and took the boat home 2 hours early.

Went here to get cocktails and chips which were on the lunch menu but because we didn’t order any of the expensive main meals they didn’t serve us and we had to leave. No signs outside of the restaurant to suggest this. Ridiculous

Waited 1 hour with no service, no full menu provided, only 6 options. Horrible service, when served and asked for a soft drink took 30 mins to arrive. Only about 10 people in the restaurant.
