Emerald Gardens at Wests New Lambton is a restaurant where generosity is abundant. The meals are substantial and the service is attentive, warm and friendly.
The menu is full of adventure and discovery, with a rich bounty of fine fare to choose from. The long list of house specialties provides ample choice, but the menu continues with an array of soups and mouth-watering appetisers.
You can choose your main from the tantalising list of chicken, pork, beef, duck, prawns or omelettes. A combination of these incredible meals can be served as a banquet. For those who don’t eat meat, the vegetarian mock meat selection is like nothing you have ever seen on a restaurant menu before.

This is not the first time we have been to Emerald Gardens. The presentation by staff, the environment first class. I suppose it depends on the Chef working at the time, But I thought that the food was not quiet there this time compared with previous visits but still tasted great and we will be back.

A very good experience with my family. Ambience was very good, decor was calm and cozy, service was excellent, food was really good. Nice choice of cutlery for serving and on table. I ordered Malaysian food and must say this is the closest to Malaysian cuisine that I have tasted so far in Australia. Not many Malaysian dishes though. Every dish was unique with flavor and texture and presentation. Portions very large and sufficient. All in my family enjoyed it. The price was another stunner. For the feel, quality of food, experience, and service it was definitely low.. Have paid much more for lousy food and quality elsewhere. Waiting to go again and try the other dishes. Surely one of my favourites in Newcastle.
