Stopped in Albury enroute from Canberra to Melbourne. Looked around and saw mostly generic or franchise fare. Came across this cafe. Great bagel with fresh filling. Good coffee. Friendly staff. Glad I ate there.

ordered bacon and eggs on toast and an iced latte with almond milk and told the waitress i was allergic to all dairy. food came out with bread toasted in butter, eggs fried in butter, and a dish of butter on the side. food was served a good 20 minutes before the drinks. barista asked if it was lactose free milk that i wanted, so i said no it had to be almond because i was allergic. she returned 5 seconds later with a drink with full cream milk. boyfriend tried the drink and said it tasted completely normal too. had an allergic reaction that afternoon. i’m just glad i’m not anaphylactic!
