So disappointed in the food. Been coming here for ages and the food and service has been great but recent changes have not been for the better. Today I had the pork belly with bok choy and crispy potatoes. The potatoes were soft and cold, the book choy was chewy and the pork belly was overcooked and dry. My partner ordered the seniors menu and the ice cream sundae never appeared.

We were very disappointed when we arrived to find that the menus that we saw online were not what was available the day we visited. The “pub classics” we saw online didn’t mention that they weren’t available in the main dining room. In fact, we thought the menu that was on offer was a bit limited. There were two “specials” but they weren’t listed anywhere. We only knew about them because one of the staff told us.

We had a meal there today 8/12/22 we waited over hour and half as they were having (issues) in the kitchen, when our turkey Christmas lunch arrived it was barely warm,and only turkey breast roll. very disappointing. We were offered a complimentary coffee, to compensate!

Booked for Valentine’s Day dinner over three weeks ago hoping to get a good table. Was very disappointed when we were taken to a table near the kitchen and had to listen to the chef yelling at the top of his lungs until someone complained so they turned up the music to drown him out. The music was so loud we couldn’t hear each other talk. Our two meals were not brought out together so I was finished half of mine before his came out. The room has a huge divider down the middle which looks like its there to separate the members from the general public, im not sure if that’s the case but either way it looks terrible. We complained as did other diners but they weren’t bothered by our complaints. As locals it is very disappointing, we have been coming here for over a decade with family and friends & after tonight’s experience I don’t think we will bother to come here again.

We have been to Dimples restaurant for lunch on five occasions. We have had an excellent feed every time. The service is excellent and the food is great. Excellent atmosphere with wonderful views overlooking the golf course. In the entertainment book… Makes it even better value. Well worth a visit.

Dimples is an outstanding restaurant with quality food and great service. Our group of friends dined their last Friday night and enjoyed superbly cooked, and nicely presented food. In fact, we enjoyed our meals and the service so much that we booked in to enjoy another meal there the following week!
