When I first walked in, I was amazed at the size of the venue and found interesting artefacts and stories scattered throughout of mining history. The bar area is cosy and inviting, and the dining area is comfortable and spacious, so you’re not crammed in. The staff were helpful and friendly. A nice selection of food on the menu, I chose the stuffed chicken with spinach and pine nuts. It was awesome, but so were the veggies, cooked to perfection, crispy, and very tasty.

Wonderful dinner and breakfast. Healthy and generous portions. Lots of options for sides. I got the parmi and the sauce was delicious. Fresh produce, veggies etc. Eggs in the morning were great. So was the coffee. Hot chips were okay.

Lovely cosy restaurant with busy, buzzy atmosphere. Great variety on menu. Stuffed chicken was outstanding. Cheesy garlic bread Yum. Friendly service. Have to return to try the crumbed sausages or the spag bol. Friends raved about the local stout. Bar area looked very inviting. Motel was great too. Highly recommend!
