Welcome to Coogee Pavilion, or as the locals call it, ‘The Pav’. The ground floor is perfect for family get-togethers and casual dining. The menu is made for sharing; from lobster rolls, sashimi and freshly shucked oysters, to the wood-fired pizza and kids’ meals.
The best thing? The nostalgic games arena complete with giant magnetic scrabble, ping pong and an in-house theatrette, will keep the kids entertained for hours. Upstairs, Coogee Pavilion Rooftop is an adults-only destination. With four indoor and outdoor bars, a huge wrap-around balcony with the best sea views, and a mouth-watering Mediterranean menu, you’re guaranteed a good time.
Pizzas, burgers & Mediterranean fare over three floors with a rooftop terrace & games arena.

Definitely nice place for the location. Typical Australian simple but effective service. food definitely below expectations for such a place by the sea. nothing special . The bill is decidedly high for two salads, a bottle of water and a platter of cold cuts.

Situated on the beach with wonderful views of the beach, park and town and heaps of parking. I just loved the look of the building inside and out. This place caters for everyone and I mean from families with very young children to the party animals and business meetings etc. It has the levels from memory and I just love how well it flows and such a wonderful vibe that makes you want to stay.

The location is perfect and atmosphere is great and kid’s friendly. But, if your budget is tight, this place is not for you. 1 adult and 2 under 10 years old boys we spent 166 and the pastas were finished in less than 10 bites. You have to order at lest 3 pastas for an adult to feel full.

Stopped in for a bite to eat. At first glance it looked on the pricey side. However when the food came out, and the great service we had from our waitress Lily, it was definitely worth it. Only thing I was disappointed in was not knowing about the rooftop part of the place sooner, as would have preferred to dine up there.

This place is epic! Different days it’s different feelings and moods and different levels of the venue as well. Drinks are a bit pricey however food downstairs is really good. Fridays and Saturday it goes wild

Great food, good vibe and friendly waiters. Unfortunately suffers from knuckle dragging staff manning the door – even at 5pm on a Saturday – but that’s hard to get around in Sydney these days. After finishing late lunch on the ground floor we were refused entry upstairs. Decided to take out party of 6 up the road to the competitors to celebrate my wife’s birthday instead. Had a great night despite the chimpanzees. Go for the food and the vibe. Don’t expect common sense from the door staff.
