I love that this restaurant has outdoor seatings & they are also shaded! Food were served quickly & friendly too . I had Miso Negi Ramen which had great portion & nice chashu. The only thing that would make it perfect if the egg was more half boiled ! The Wagyu Beef Hot Pot in Sukiyaki soup & Chicken Katsu Don were delicious too . Such a great & reasonably priced Japanese feed, I’ll be back for sure! They’re also open for dinner & weekends too, so it’s a great meal option in the city.

The noodle they served definitely not cooked fresh. Noodle all stay blocked and soggy. The soup had cleaning soap taste. And the worse part was the chashu had rope in there. I understood you tried to prove you cook your own chashu, but at least need to remove it before service. 100% not advice this place.

I used to go here in the mid 2000’s and hadn’t returned until 2023. Quality and taste for value ratio is high. I always loved their ten don (tempura rice bowl). It is quite a lot like what you would find in a family run tempura restaurant in Japan (I have visited 9 times).

I came here to eat with a friend. There were so many items on the menu that it was hard to decide what to order. This time we ordered shrimp ramen, sushi and sashimi bento box. All were delicious. Next time I would like to come back for a different menu! The atmosphere was also nice.

I found it when I was looking for a restaurant near Wynyard Station. The owner was very kind, the service was quick, and the food was delicious. The sashimi and sushi were excellent, and since it was winter, the ramen was excellent.

I was generous at 3 stars. We had Bento box with wagging shredded beef with traditional tempura. 3 types of noodle soups and appetizer fish balls. Very small indoor and larger outdoors next to street. The tempura was at my level of quality. Besides that, it was okay but expected more for his establishment. As always post wherever your palate ends up in.

Our group of 8 all thoroughly enjoyed our dinner, including ramen, sushi/sashimi combos, teppanyaki udon dishes and more. Outdoor seating and Japanese beers for $7-8. Genuine Japanese staff and they are excellent. We will be back.
