We hired Colonial Catering for a party for 50 people at our venue recently and they were amazing. The food was excellent and ample, the staff were friendly and unobtrusive, and the event ran very smoothly allowing me to enjoy the party with our guests. Job well done! My experience was a little worrying for me as we come for DINNER tonight. We didn’t realise that there would be seafood salad which had prawns and crab in it. We didn’t see a label to let us know what the salad was. My wife is anaphylaxis to seafood. She was fine but she did stop eating dinner and took some antihistamines just Incas. She also carries her epipens with her as well.

Absolutely the best in the business. We hired colonial catering for our wedding on the weekend and OMG the food was amazing! They went above and beyond for us. The food was amazing! We decided to have canapés and tasting plates for a cocktail style reception instead of a sit down meal at our wedding. I was worried about my decision of not having a sit down meal wondering id guests would be satisfied. But the moment everyone started eating everyone just wanted to eat more, the food was absolutely amazing! Every guest raved about how amazing it was. They went above and beyond. Their staff are very well trained and their servers did their job immaculately. Thank you so much colonial catering for being apart of our special day and making sure we were filled with delicious food! It was amazing! You went above and beyond for us and we are so grateful. We ordered the Thai fish and Mango salad for lunch, the fish was good but the mango salad was a disaster as it was served with unripe avocado, the dressings was watery. The orange was not segmented properly. The service staff was very friendly. The chef came out and apologise for the avocado but I was disappointed that he served it even though he knew the avos was unripe, so I told him if its not good, he should not serve it.

Amazing in every way! The food and drinks were delicious, the counter and waiter staff were polite and the food came quickly. There were 7 tradies who ordered in front of me yet my food still came out quicker than Macdonalds. Extremely happy with the service. Pricing was great. Food was incredible
