Just happened upon this restaurant during a lazy Sunday stroll on the water front at Port. So happy we gave it a go. Service extremely friendly, food service great, and food came quickly even though the tables were full. Food was fresh and they catered for steak eaters, seafood eaters, burger lovers, vegetarian and vegan. All with heaps of options. Highly recommending the Tempura Avocado soft Tacos. Very tasty. Hubby loved the chicken burger

Stopped in for lunch in a long road trip and couldn’t have picked a better spot. Food is amazing with a great range of vegetarian and vegan options, including some specials, lovely atmosphere with a view of the water, generous portions and the service is so friendly to top it all off. We came with our dog and the staff were all so happy to meet him and give him treats! Will be stopping back in when we come back through.

Went to Chop n Chill for a business dinner. Honestly not bad. Place is really nice to be in. Was very busy but service was really great and fast. Really nice staff. Smaller size portions for the price but good quality food non the less. Plenty of drinks on tap and plenty of space. All in all would highly recommend!

We were at Port Macquarie for 2 nights over the Easter long weekend. Lots of restaurants to choose from and we decided to try Chop & Chill on our first night which was awesome, relaxed atmosphere with great staff and prompt service. We sat outside and enjoyed our meals. We had a dinner booking the next night at another restaurant but decided to cancel and rebook at Chop & Chill. Tonight we tried the beef brisket spring rolls, the Kimchi scallops, Pork sliders & a slab of Beef brisket.All the food was good but what we enjoyed most was the atmosphere and the staff and manager Mark was awesome. He was so patient, attentive and took time to explain the menu to the customers without rushing them inspite if the restaurant being fairly busy. Well done Chop & Chill until next time.

We came here for breakfast on your last morning in Port. The cafe is expansive and well presented. We had coffee, a bacon and egg roll, and the breakfast burrito. The coffee was quite nice and so was the food. I do kind of wished the burrito was a bit larger as it was quite small for the price ($25). Also I wished there were some sweet options on the menu as it would have been suitable for the hot humid weather. Overall a nice cafe and would recommend.

Wonderful location, there’s sometimes live music, atmosphere is so lovely, kids can play in park and you can still see them from your table. Food is a little expensive, but for us it ended up out of reach as I have 4 out of 5 gluten free family members and there was very little we could eat there for a reasonable price (but that was about 4 years ago, maybe they’ve changed. I don’t go there anymore due to food options but I wish I could because it’s really nice, and food looked really good – briskets and buffalo wings and things).

Large, casual, busy restaurant / bar with a pub bistro atmosphere where you order at the counter. Great for families or groups wanting to catch up over some drinks and snacks. There were quite a few vegetarian and vegan items to choose from, and they were clearly marked and in a separate section of the menu making them easy to find. This kind of thoughtfulness is super appreciated by vegetarians! There was also a vegan special on the board, so make sure to check that before ordering. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and efficient. They cleaned the tables thoroughly between diners, which made me very happy . The outdoor seating has views over the park and harbour and also has ceiling fans. Food came fast and was fairly basic but fresh and really good quality. I especially liked the roll of paper towels on the table instead of the skimpy serviettes you get in many places – very useful when you are having tacos! This place is great for a quick, decent, reasonably priced meal, which was exactly what we were looking for on the night.
