Decided to try this restaurant. Food nice – ordered the sizzling platter – sizzling alright – got sprayed with all the fat. As the place is part of a shopping centre – it is not really nice to sit there. Not romantic. Maybe takeaway is the better option. The orders came through rather fast on the phone – lots of takeaways – so maybe that’s why.

Nice meals. Got tomyum fried rice. A little bit sweet but still taste nice. Need a bit more chilli and lime flavour. The lemon honey chicken needs more lemon and less batter.

The food here is amazing! Had soft shell crab in a yellow curry sauce, penang curry with chicken and roti with peanut sauce. Food was brought out quickly and the new owners are so very friendly and helpful! We will definitely be back and I would highly recommend Chok Chai Thai! You won’t be disappointed!

How busy can one restaurant get? The orders were flying out the kitchen. Dine in and takeaways. Obviously the locals weren’t wrong. Great food, great service despite all the orders. It was pleasant sitting outside and enjoying our BYO drinks.

Just been to Thailand for 3 weeks. This is the Thai restaurant on the Sunny Coast that is closest to authentic Thai food that I have ever had. We ate in and the portions were very generous. Will be going back there often!
