Absolutely loved our dinner at China Doll. The service was top-notch from start to finish. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made us feel incredibly welcome. They went above and beyond to meet all of our needs and ensure we had a fantastic dining experience. We opted for the $65pp banquet menu and boy, were we blown away. Every dish that came out was a culinary masterpiece. The flavours were bold, the presentation was impeccable, and each bite was a journey of taste sensations. From the melt-in-your-mouth beef curry, to the succulent duck and watermelon salad, crispy pork belly, and fluffy zucchini fritters, every dish was a true delight for the senses. Not only was the food delicious, but the portion sizes were also incredibly generous. We left feeling pleasantly full and satisfied. The restaurant’s attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the carefully curated menu to the beautiful plating. Overall, our experience at China Doll was nothing short of exceptional. Had an absolutely blast of dinner at China Doll. Food was amazing (as an Asian, the food here is almost to perfection to me!), service was good but they were very busy, I do not blame them for any mistakes (which they didn’t but just slightly slow speed).

The food was good, but was it good for the price? No. You could find better at a Chinese restaurant for less. It was fusion but did not really feel like it. The display of the food on the plate was alright if that is what you want to pay for. The service was alright but did feel like they were giving a little attitude while serving. The atmosphere was a bit rowdy, but that wasn’t much of a problem.

Had a birthday dinner here and really enjoyed the evening. The restaurant has a fresh, lively atmosphere being located on Woolloomooloo wharf and well visited by a glam crowd. We had wines and the set menu. Both were delicious and I was really impressed by the set menu- dishes complemented each other, there was lots of variety, and there was lots of it.
