It’s been a while since I came back to Chicken Wizard and found there there is now a new owner. Originally wanted to order a quarter chicken and chips with gravy, however found that for a small gravy, it cost neaely 1/4 of the price of the meal. This is quite significant, especially since the gravy will have left overs. The chips there were crispy outside and soft inside, but it wasn’t seasoned evenly. The chicken also a bit dry. Waiting time was long, as they did everything in order, and not based on what’s ready. So I saw my order get cold, as it was lining up to be served. It’s ok, but there are other chicken options in the area.

I would rate no stars if I could, Chicken Wizard used to be a place for good food and service. I haven’t been there in a while and will never be going back, our orders were wrong despite having to repeat them 3 times and the food tasted terrible, I don’t know what they did to the meat on the burgers but they were horrible, the potato scallops were undercooked and tasted like dough.

The lady dropped a potato scolop on the floor! She then looked at the man she was serving realised he did not see, she then bent down and picked it up with her tongs put it in a bag and gave it to the customer!!!! I could not believe what I was witnessing. I had not ordered food yet so I just walked out. I will NEVER eat here, it was my first time walking into the shop and 100% my last time. The lady even seamed to look at me and still she picked the food up off the floor and sold it to the gentleman in front of me. I should have said something to him but I was completely shocked that the lady droped food on to the floor, picked it up and sold it.

Got the chicken kebab for $3.90. I think it’s decent price but the taste and texture is mediocre or is just not to my liking. A bit salty by itself.

No more great take away on the hill @ Panania…. Food is horrible, service is woeful, took 15 min to make 2 rolls… spoke in their language the entire time I was there, took 2 ppl to take my order, used the same knife for bread and then the meats… sorry but I cannot say a good thing here and it use to be the best in the area. Will not be returning.

Staff was terribly rude and gave me funny looks like I was stupid when I asked simple questions such as what options are available and what size a certain item was, also insisted there was not a thing you couldn’t put inside a wrap and looked at me like I was stupid when I asked for something in the wrap. Detestable service, never returning.
