Great food! The dinners were wonderful and presented nicely! The main courses did not disappoint; this was authentic French cuisine at its finest. Excellent wine selection. The service was excellent, and the waiter was both professional and courteous. Sadly, I just snapped photographs of the wine and sweets, but the experience was fantastic! Definitely return!

Excellent food! The entrees were delicious and beautifully presented! Mains did not disappoint, authentic French food at is best. Great selection of wines. Had been a favourite for years, however the quality sadly seems to be slipping, as my savoury souffle (same favourite I order each time) came out raw in the centre. The duck was dry and unappetizing. Nice bread, and serving a decent size of French bubbly.

They come …. they go in this small strip of shops in Armadale however Chez Bob has stood the test of time and seems to have been there forever! We were greeted by a charming waiter who added to the authenticity of the place, being French! Our dishes and flavours were okay but would have preferred served hot rather than warm and the cheese soufflé looked a bit tragic however apparently tasted fine!

Lovely location, wonderful table and fabulous staff. The food was not as amazing as it should have been for the price – crab rillette so small, and the Barramundi likewise, with little flavour. A tad disappointing. But the addition of 6.5% to the bill for using a card to pay is an utter disgrace. It was not pointed out either in advance nor when the bill was presented, and with a tip added anyway, it is an unnecessary and greedy practice. Either incorporate this ‘fee’ into the prices or don’t.

Great atmosphere with friendly and attentive service. I had cauliflower soup for entree and my companions had escargot and onion soup – all fabulous. For the main I ordered Steak cooked Australian medium not French medium. My companions also had Steak and Bouillabaisse. Both Steaks were cooked perfectly to our liking and the Bouillabaisse received high praise. I highly recommend Chez Bob and look forward to going back again.
