Just tried this place tonight – Absolutely love it and definitely coming back soon! Had the chicken veggie stir fry w garlic pepper – was so tasty and succulent (but not heavy like many commercial Thai places that rely too much on sickly sweet sauces). All the entrees were good. I ate it so excitedly I didn’t get to take photos.

Our party arrived first and ate last. The host dictated what we should order to make life easier for his chef, confused us all in the process and had us unsure of the restaurant “rules”. Took 45 mins just to get the food ordered and in the kitchen. He was also very controlling over his staff. We waited 1.5 hours for our food which was tasty but very overpriced. Won’t be returning.

Have been eating here since moving to North Sydney almost 3 years ago. Every meal we have tried is exceptional and there is nothing on the menu we’ve had that is not delicious. A modern twist and flavours combined with exceptional service- Chedi is a go to for any occasion and Greg and his wonderful team will ensure you are well looked after. I stopped by for lunch and I ordered Chilli Basil Fried Rice Vegetarian. I must say it’s a wonderful place to have your lunch/dinner. Fine dining, great ambience, parking at front, great customer service and the owner, Greg himself interacts with customers. Their chefs are very well trained and known to produce great dishes that fill your appetite.

Good (but not amazing) food, friendly servers, decent ambience are the best ways to describe Chedi Thai. The menu is an interesting mix of Chinese and Thai dishes (think dumplings for entrees). We went as group of 4 (no reservation) and were able to be seated immediately on a Friday night which was great and to make things even better Chedi is BYO. Lastly Chedi is a tad bit more expensive than other Thai places nearby but overall it was $120 for our party of 4

This is our new go to thai lunch place in north sydney. The restaurant is nice and spacious and the owner and staff are funny and welcoming. The food is a mix between thai faves and modern western twist for lunches. Prices are reasonable with very generous servings. A pad thai can probably feed too but who’s complaining. Came here once for work colleagues birthday and were so impressed with the food, staff and atmosphere that we now order for dinner and come here for regular team lunches. Highly recommended!
