If you’re looking for a good steak house in Canberra this isn’t it. This was a 65 dollar steak which didn’t include sauce or any sides. I ordered it rare and it was absolutely overcooked to the point if well done. It’s the first steak in my life that I haven’t finished. Our meal for 2 people was 340 dollars as we went out for a special date night however I can’t describe how let down we were by the steak. As well as being cremated and over cooked there was just no flavour in the steak, no fat and no seasoning could be tasted. Nice venue but seriously disappointing steak

First up. This was a free meal through a commercial agreement. However, I also havnt gone on record giving any old venue paying or offering free food five stars either. It’s a well oiled machine and by far and away one of the best restaurants attached to a hotel Ive ever seen or dined at in terms of quality and sophistication. The bar menu serves it purpose (day dining and room service) – but the dinner menu is really the star of the show! Meats cooked to perfection and both the lighter salad and the rich potato galette were tdf. Strongly recommend to ALL travellers and locals to it out!

Had dinner here around mid May 2022 which was a very disappointing and led me to give some scathing feedback – mostly to do with the service and how a legitimate complaint about the food was poorly handled. However, I must commend the management, particularly Desiree, for their sincere response. They were gracious in acknowledging the faults and took my feedback on board. They were very accommodating to my partner and I, whom they invited to return for dinner and try their revamped menu. I must say our experience compared to the first time was like night and day.. We went on a Tuesday night and even then it was buzzing. Good if you like that kind of atmosphere but probably not the best if you want a quiet, peaceful chat. Anyway our host Jun was superb, providing us with a personal selection of dishes and drink pairings. The food came out promptly and the quality was exquisite. The scallops and king prawns for entrée were vibrant and delicious and the lamb and rib eye for mains were so flavourful and just melts in your mouth. Also the bombe Alaska dessert was…the bomb! Definitely changed our original impression and we had an great night. Thanks for the great service Desiree and Jun 🙂

This is a special place for us and each time we come the food is amazing. The best steak and always perfectly cooked. Absolutely delicious and creative sides and not to mention the sweet treats to end the evening. Recommend over and over.
