The coffee is a must! The big breakfast was also decent.. and has great fried chicken, although I wouldn’t recommend the pancakes ♀️

We needed a lunch with a bit of warmth and healthy(ish). So wife had Zucchini Slice and I had the big burger (forgot its name). Service was quick for the time of day (mid arvo), pricing was ok and tastes were really nice. I would eat mine again.

A late breakfast after a leisurely lie in turned into an early lunch.

Ordered the GFC chicken and chicken lettuce cheese mayo roll. Fried were super crispy and coleslaw was good too.

Food was fine. Thats the nicest thing to say. Frozen deep fried stuff. No lemon with the fish. A single packet of sauce. Staff were not welcoming or particularly competent. Bags of pre-cooked woolies chicken were carried into the kitchen so at least you know the chicken is good… also, a small feral child was sneezing on cutlery and rubbing chicken nugget on the wall. The staff said nothing to the parents. The staff were too busy relaxing out back. No one out front. Would avoid this place in future.

On our way back to Mildura from Adelaide we stopped in Waikerie for some “dog’s lips”, chips for those who don’t know Scottish slang. Well, these were the best chips with chicken salt we have had for a long time. Friendly staff. Also ordered some salt and pepper squid at$1.20 per piece. Terrible. They were cold and greasy. And one piece was the size of 5cents. Chips are excellent. Can’t say the same about the rest of the menu.

I have lunch here 2 times a week. The staff are great. Food is fresh and tasty. The price is comparable and easy on a pensioner’s pocket.
