I’ve only visited 3 indian restaurants in Adelaide and to compare with the high end side that I’ve visited recently; By far, this is the best Chicken Tikka Masala i’ve tasted, it’s very tasty. Have had great takeaway from here many times in the evening. Had a lunch dine in and the entre was superb. The mains had the flavours spot on but the meat was a not as tender as one would expect. The service and atmosphere were great and I will be back for another lunch and definitely evening takeaway.

I returned to this restaurant last night after not being there for many years, and I was thrilled to see that it was still owned by the same Chef. The food was fantastic, and the service was great; the two key ingredients for a very successful business. That’s probably why British Raj will soon celebrate 13 years in business.

This is where we celebrate all my dad’s special occasions – it’s his favourite Indian in Adelaide and he’s tried most of them! We have never had a bad meal, the curries are always perfect and the meat is tender.

Great place for Indian authentic food and fantastic service with pleasant ambience. Butter chicken is a star dish – must try with garlic naan! Highly recommend this place for a family dine-in.
