Breakfast this morning (24th June) was just sensational. The big breakfast was BIG, and the hot chocolate was to die for, highly recommended.

The most delightful place to visit. Can’t ever fault the service and attention to detail they show to their customers. Heather the owner has the most wonderful report with people and it comes with her staff.

I came here today for a high tea experience. I got the vegan option and I will say the arancini balls were very good and the staff were lovely. I was a bit gobsmacked when paying as I was charged extra for the vegan option which was honestly lesser in quantity than the servings of everyone else I was with who did not get vegan options. I received half a salad sandwich, a tiny bruschetta thing, two arancini balls, two chocolate balls and a tea cup full of fruit which I was charged $40 for, tea and coffee were not included. I wouldn’t recommend this place to others with differing dietary requirements and as great as those arancini balls were, I won’t be returning in the future.

I’ve been a Chef for over 40 years and many places leave a person disappointed with the “me too” food.

Friendly staff, the food is always good and the cafe itself offers so much more than just food and drinks. It’s a cafe and boutique shop all in one. Definitely worth a visit.

This is a most delightful cafe with a lovely ambiance. My feeling is that it is over priced which deters me from going regularly. Generally the staff are friendly and helpful but there is the odd one who is a little abrupt. The idea of the cafe is very good and quality of the food is excellent but the prices also need to match what else is on offer in the same street. Initially we thought we would make it our regular haunt but changed our mind after a few visits.

Went to this cafe today – the coffee was burnt and tasted bitter. Went to tell someone about it, one of the ladies was very nice, tried to amend it for us, very helpful. The other lady (assuming she is the owner of the joint) then said it couldn’t be burnt. We ordered some teas instead. When the other waitress brought them to us, she put it down on our tables with a ‘we all like something different don’t we’. We took it as quite a passive aggressive comment that we are the issue, not the coffee. Mum proceeded to explain that the coffees tasted bitter regardless of our likes, when the waitress abruptly went ‘ok’ and left. We were made to feel uncomfortable and unimportant. We have always come to this cafe for a coffee and lunch, and although very overpriced, we liked the atmosphere. Now after this, we will not be returning, and will share this incident with the others, who often visit this place. If you’re going to treat your customers like this, making them feel worthless and unheard, then you may want to think about up-taking some customer service problem solving lessons. Without your customers your cafe would not be anything. I hope you handle it better in future so that more customers don’t walk away from you.

Cannot praise this Cafe enough. Even with wife in wheel chair, we were made very welcome. Lovely Hot chocolate, coffee, and a Chicken and Leek in puff pastry, melted in your mouth, lovely garnish. So good we ordered a second one to take home, cut it in half for two meals. This Cafe has been at this location forever, just when you think it could not get better, surprise, it just did. Lovely friendly staff. Excellent Covid Protocol, a genuinely awesome experience.
