This place was recommended on one of those ‘Best Places in Sydney’ list but, honestly, one of the most disappointing I’ve ever been to. Charged ~$13 per skewer for substandard small portions.

Great spot for a quick lunch, fish portion was great and tasted fresh. However, the chips were not that nice. Lots of options for seating. Menu has great selections to choose.

Nice place with large selection of burgers and fish and chips. The burger was decent, the fish and chips only so so. Limited space inside the restaurant, but great for taking food out and eat close to the beach. Thumbs up for asking customers to take care of the environment and dispose their one way packaging properly.

Enjoyed mid-week lunch. Seemed fairly busy for a week day but food came out promptly. Had a fisherman’s basket with wife. Serving is not huge for the price however quality was good. The prawn cutlets were actual prawns not some frozen processed meat. My wife does not normally like tarte sauce but this one was great. Will visit again.

The fish tasted fresh and the chips were nice. The price compared to the portion was high. It’s in a nice location with outside tables and you can also takeaway to have it at the beach. Not the best idea to have a communal salt and vinegar station.

My opinion is that this food venue should be renovated, especially considering the money they make. In the seating area, for example, the tables and seats are always dirty, even though customers take their rubbish away. Another issue is that regardless if you’re skinny or not it’s extremely hard to walk through the area and seat. To make it more spacious the benches should have 5 pieces of timber instead of 6. Even the biggest butt would fit on 5.

Great fish and chip shop. Everything is made fresh. There’s minimal outdoor seating, which we were lucky enough to get a spot. Have been many times though, and just taken food back to eat on the beach.

Definitely not returning, I didn’t think it possible to go wrong with grilled salmon and chips. I think the oil needs changing? The chips had that stale taste, not nice! fish was okay. Ridiculously over priced, over $70 for 2 people!
