So happy to stumble across the Boatshed on our mission for great beer and food for our Sunday sesh! Absolutely loved the $10 sharing menu and $6 beer specials accompanied with one of the best views of the water in Cairns. Staff were really nice and although we didn’t have a reservation the manager was able to squeeze us in and then upgrade us to a bigger table when our friends wanted to meet us. Will definitely be back!

Outstanding food. We had the seafood linguine for 2 with lobster. They got it right. Beautiful combination of flavours Just the right amount of chilli. Plenty of quality seafood. Thanks Matthew for the attentive service which made our 26th anniversary.

We came here for happy hour and ended up getting some munchies/tapas, very pleasantly pleased I must say! Sad we didn’t get time to come back again for one last hurrah during our stay in Cairns! Really nice place to sit and chill by the waterfront.

This was my second visit and enjoyed it just as much as the first. Great value lunch, $35 for 2 courses including a drink. Lots of choices. Lovely staff providing good service.

Lovely food and drinks here, I was worried when I see some of the reviews here the food was not great but it doesn’t seem right. The food was very good. The only thing that could be improved would be their service… The waitress won’t ask if u want dessert or not after cleaning up ur table…. wait until u asked.

Great out-look and atmosphere. Unfortunately, still very touristy. Not great waitstaff, I waited a while to be seated and even longer to order. The food and drink was quick to come out though. The menu looked very promising but when the food came out I was disappointed. The ceviche in particular was so tough it was almost inedible. Which the chef must have known because half the pieces were so tough they weren’t cut properly. All in all, the place is good enough and you’ll likely have an OK, passable time/ meal. Would I go back or recommend to a friend? No.
