Great spot for breaky with views over the water. Bacon and Egg burger was delicious and coffee is fine. Very clean amenities block alongside and no annoying music playing so can just soak up the atmosphere. This is a great spot for families with quiet waters along the beach, lots of picnic tables. Currently open Thu to Sunday mornings during winter

Excellent park. Cost is 5 dollars per vehicle but if you are happy to walk in there is carpark close. Just park the car and walk in for free

Stunning creek spot that’s ideal for families with young kids. There is a $5 admission fee for vehicles or you can park outside the grounds and walk in for free.

A beautiful family friendly swimming area with well maintained facilities including BBQS, all weather shelters and a kiosk with fresh made coffee and hot chips. Unfortunately, not coeliac or Gluten free friendly.

Amazing spot at the mouth of the river running under the train bridge. Walk to the beach, along the creek, or up to the lookout. Decent price chips, coffee, etc at the cafe. Hire a canoe or bring a lilo or boogie board and catch the tide into the creek, or watch the fish and crabs under the bridge. Great spot for kids, plenty of shade, bbqs, playground, everything you could want!

This place is a beautiful boambee gem! It’s such a lovely reserve with plenty of shade, Kayaking available and cheap quality food and coffee available. Great for the kids and for a nice swim! Highly recommended.

Great location for a family, however the playground could do with an upgrade. The equipment was old and outdated compared to other playgrounds around Australia. I’d visit more often if they added to the equipment that’s already there (zip line etc).
