Oops I did it again walked straight past this place and had to come back up the hill! The stairs to 3rd lvl BKK was a great heart starter chosen over the funky industrial lift.

Literally a bar and overcharging price for any food there, not worthy to go for just have a meal and not drinking.

Restaurant in the midst of the HER establishment. Pretty underwhelming decor. Felt like it was stuck there as there was same spare space in the building.

The food was top notch and for food only I would give a 5/5. Staff were nice. Drinks were terrible! The signature cocktails were premixed and came from the tap. They were very sugary. For $20-24 it’s possible to get a great cocktail at many decent city bars. Unfortunately that felt like a rip off. Stick to water or beers. I would definitely come back for the food again. Nice open kitchen too.

Highly recommend barbecue pork jowl with jasmine rice. Perfect combo!! Oysters were a bit pricey for $6 each but they had unique flavors which would be a good try. Service was amazing. They kept on refilling the water without needing to be asked and everyone was friendly. Most of what we ate had a touch of spice and sourness. Went on a Thursday 3:30-5pm and it was relatively quiet. For those who don’t want to come along with the huge crowd, have an early dinner!

Meh? Went to the BKK Thai street food festival thing and it was really strange. About 30 staff members roaming around , and nobody seemed to know what they were doing. The food was fine, not amazing. Paid $10 in and then the food was from one food van outside. Paid $29 for each main dish, which was a fairly small portion. Tasted good, but not worth the money or hype, at all. Not sure why they call them Thai chips either? Haha. Don’t bother imo!

From the early reviews we were apprehensive coming here, but we thought now was time to try. What a revelation for our first time, sensational authentic thai food dishes backed up by service levels that are benchmark. We enjoyed beautiful full of flavor authentic dishes, made with quality ingredients and care. One of the best thai food and restaurant experiences you will find in Melbourne, either in BKK or the Her rooftop bar. An absolute must go.
