Food, wine and service was all excellent. The crab omelette for entree was probably the best dish we had on the day. Everything else we ate was also amazing. The only thing I could find to fault was the table we were on was too small for 4 people. Will definitely be coming back.

It was a wonderful experience!! It was my partner’s bday and we decided to let Paul choose the menu for us. We were absolutely satisfied with all that he chose, our taste buds were very happy and amazed!! Also, his choice of wine was simply excellent. I have not had alcohol in over 6 years and the glass of wine he went for was just the right one, it felt really enjoyable. I loved it! On top of that, he surprised us with a beautiful ‘Happy bday” chocolate sign in the desert and a cute candle!!! Wow, simply wow.We loved and really appreciated the dedicated attention from Paul and the waiters, I think it was Emily (sorry if I got it wrong). But all of them ladies were looking if we were ok and if we needed anything. We had such a great time! The music was also lovely and at just the right volume. We would certainly go back and recommend to friends.

Lovely, cosy French restaurant with friendly service. The food was authentic, with great presentation and was delicious. The steaks were cooked just the way we asked, and the soufflé is a must! Definitely recommend.

Another great meal at Bistro Moncur. This must be the most consistently excellent restaurant in Sydney. Although I tend to order the same main (minute steak) – its just so good, I do mix up the entrees (favorite being the crab omelette) Our group of seven had a varied mixture of the menu, everyone commented just how good the food and service was. The staff go out of their way to ensure you have a wonderful evening. You can understand why its continually booked out.

Our party of four thoroughly enjoyed dinner at Bistro Moncur. The food, service and atmosphere were impressive. We all commented on how low the noise level was, particularly for such a busy restaurant. The ability to have a conversation at a restaurant, without having to raise your voice, is a rare commodity. The bottom line … I highly recommend Bistro Moncur.
