Walked in and woman behind counter looked at me as if I was about to rob the store. She said “have you ordered” to which I asked if they can do grilled fish. “It will be half an hour”. Very odd experience. I walked out because she was so unwelcoming. You would think these small towns would be welcoming tourists and not have attitude.

Today I was able to eat a fish cocktail for the first time in 7 years (since being diagnosed coeliac) thanks to this takeaway! The fish cocktails and the chips were absolutely delicious and almost 12 hours later I don’t have any symptoms of being glutened. I’m so happy and super appreciative 🙂

had the milkshakes for takeaway. got the vanilla and strawberry shake. vanilla had a good flavour but the strawberry tasted like nesquick. also, they were not milkshakes, they were just mixed up milk with flavour. no thickness of any ice cream in sight! so disappointing. milkshakes need to be thick, or at least thicker than just drinking plain milk through a straw!

Very rude staff. I asked about ingredients ( I have allergies ) and was given a rude and frosty retort telling us they don’t know what’s in their veggie burger patties. And obviously they couldn’t care less anyway. They ignored me and the long line of waiting customers for ages. I would have walked out if my friend hadn’t already ordered and paid for her meal. Waited ages for the food which was very ordinary. Also noted that the staff handled food without gloves after handling the telephone etc. Poor hygiene practice. Never going back.
