Belvedere Hobart restaurant is part of Vibe Hotel on Argyle Street Hobart. Stayed at the Hotel for the first time and had breakfast and dinner at the Belvedere. The breakfast menu was a la carte as a pleasant change to the usual buffet type continental version. The poached eggs perfectly cooked and great flavours in the eggs Benedict. For dinner I opted for the Burger meal which was served with crispy french fries. I was hungry and the meal was tasty and it hit the spot. The menu is quit comprehensive offer a variety of choices for many tastes. Service was quick and friendly. Worth a stop

Best give this one a miss. Over 45mins for a coffee, food was ok but lacking and not great value at $19 for eggs and bacon. Definitely left want more an unsatisfied.

I’ve had great service and food from this restaurant in the past, but today I found the waitress to be incompetent and clearly chose the wrong words when speaking with me. As I didn’t have a room number she came to my table and said to me “Are you going to pay today.” Obviously she thought I couldn’t afford to pay for my meal. I was offended by her comment. So we got over this hurdle to be served a breakfast which was not what I ordered.

Hardly find a hotel restaurant who serve alacarte fine breakfast. One main dish is about 20-27$ and coffee/tea is around 4.5$.

I had eggs Benedict and it couldn’t be faulted. That breakfast was exactly right, and I’d recommend this place in a heart beat. In fact I’ll be back.

Very delicious food! The chicken salad was really yummy and packed with flavour, so was the pork cutlet! We finished our meals wanting more! The cocktails where also really yummy and great prices! The guy who served us and made the drinks was really friendly and good at his job! Can only give the Belvedere a 5 star rating!

Service was friendly but quite slow and I was served the wrong wine. Server did however offer to rectify. Snack from the cabinet took a long time to come but was quite nice. Would like to go back and try a meal at some stage.
