Rang Saturday night at 7pm for a pick up order of one pizza and one pasta. Was advised an hour (expected of a successful restaurant at that time). I arrived at 7.55. I noticed that 4 staff were standing within the kitchen area, one of which was working whilst the others were chatting. One table of 5 outside which had their dishes finished, and one other person waiting for takeaway. Staff asked for my order name and my cash. The staff member who took my cash asked a kitchen staff member how long my order would be, to which he responded “coming up right now”. My son and I took a seat not far from the other customer waiting on his take away. He got his at 8.15pm. I’d be speculating about his wait time, but was there for more than 20 mins waiting for his meal, which consisted of 3 items, one of which they forgot as a staff member ran out to him at his car. Mine came out at 8.25, 30 mins after the kitchen staff member said that it was coming right up, and 1 hour 25mins after initially making the order, with an overstuffed kitchen for a restaurant which had no deliveries going out in the time I waited, no people to serve food at tables, and yet almost 90 mins to wait. I felt all would be corrected if the food quality compensated for the lack of customer service and time management. I have never eaten Italian food that tasted that bad. My son and I had a pizza and a bolognese, he’s half Italian, and condemned the bolognese immediately. I don’t think I’ve eaten food that bad for a very long long time. Just for the record, the price for what we got was atrocious.

We were regulars. Never again. Offhand wait staff…need some training in customer relations. Food ok but finished our bottle of wine before entrees arrived. Only then we had to question when it would arrive. So disappointing. Will vote with our feet.

Could not complain about the food we ate, for all our meals were delicious. However, the service was terrible. After waiting 15 minutes we had to find someone to bring wine glasses to the table, then we had to ask twice for an ice bucket. We all just felt we were an interruption to their evening for choosing to dine there.

What a wonderful night at Bella Roma. We had a group of 12 and we’re looked after extremely well. The beautiful lady who served us went out of he way to ensure everything was okay. A great selection of meals and all the food was beautifully presented. A wonderful night. Well done to the whole team there. Will definitely be back. percent

Ordered pepper fillet as I always do, its been a hit and miss lately but tonight I dont even know what to say about it. I ordered medium to well done and got a raw mooing cow that I couldn’t even cut with a steak knife, it wouldn’t chew or anything. So disgusting. For the price they charge i expect fresh fillet not frozen, defrosted in a microwave the heated lightly in a pan.

This was our first experience with Bella Roma and certainly won’t be our last. We ordered takeaway pizza and pastas for our birthday celebration and they were delicious. It was ready close to the estimate they gave us; the place looked great inside and the customer service was friendly. We look forward to having a dine-in experience in future. Thanks!
