Celebrated my mothers 60th birthday here. Ordered the arancini balls (arrived cold and found the rice to be hard but had a nice flavour), croquettes, cocktails, pizzas and pasta. They were kind to shout a tiramisu on house as a cake for my mother and brought it out with a candle. Also had the saffron pannacotta which is one of my fav desserts ever. Found it to be insanely hot inside, and we were sweating non stop and wish the heater could be turned off or reduced. Overall, a nice italian restaurant, good food and good atmosphere.

Good but not great. Food was about a C, both pizza & pasta quite bland. Waiting staff did a great job and the turnaround was quick! However, with the front of house manager valuing efficiency & ordering people around, the homey and warm culture of an Italian food & dining experience was sorely lost.

Was checking reviews & looking for somewhere to have a good “italian” pizza in Newcastle & thankgoodness we decided to go here! Busy for a Monday night, but ANZAC Day tmrw, but im sure this place is always busy, and so they should be! Starting off with a Friendly welcome to be seated, quick but not intrusive service, entree of Croquettes, then Mains 5hr Slow Cooked Pork with Orange, Fennel Salad & Potato Truffle, prosciutto Pizza-All Amazing, but then my Partner ordered Sticky Date Pudding & that was it for him 5 out of 5!! It is Busy, noisy, fast paced but sooo glad we found this place, we would highly recommend!

Absolutely delicious food as well as nice cocktails. The candles and full lighting gave the restaurant a very romantic atmosphere. Would highly recommend the pizza and pasta. Will definitely be back.

The Italian restaurant, ah a delightful dining destination the food was singular, with its fantastic plates of pasta. And the gnocci, light as a feather. And the pizza! Cooked to perfection, in the oven. The ambiance, it is warm and welcoming, like being in the arms of a loved one. And the staff, they are like family, always with a smile. A true gem of a place, it is. I highly recommend to make a booking, and see if you can’t find anything better in Newy

My wife ordered a pizza tonight for delivery through Uber eats to Cooks Hill and it arrived with toppings picked off of it, small pieces torn away, almost as if it were eaten. This isn’t an attack on the restaurant as we’ve had such beautiful food and great service from there previously, more so the delivery man. Will definitely order again but please be wary of who delivers your food!
