I ordered take away and thought it was a bit pricy at $52 for two containers of take away. Thinking it must be very good and large meals. It was good but not worth the price and just standard size. I can get just as good in Brisbane for $15 per meal.

Bauhinia Chinese is the best chinese restaurant I hv ever dined at! We hv been going there for 20 years and every meal has been excellent. I’m not sure what’s happening now as we hv tried to call and make a reservation but I think it’s closed if someone can answer my question I sure would appreciate it.

We will be leaving Mooloolaba tomorrow after 5 weeks apartment stay. No doubt the highlight of our eating out during this period has been this restaurant. Really good quality food with no airs and graces. Can’t fault what we have had on several visits which unfortunately we can’t say about any other eating establishment in Mooloolaba. They all leave much to be desired. Simply the best with the most pleasant service, even though our meal tonight was delayed due to a misplaced order. Full of apologies and our 2nd main course was very prompt. I can do nothing but highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for quality food and flavour and pleasant service. John & Anita

The reviews are either amazing or devastating and so we decided to take our chances. Really glad we did. Service with a smile. Food was tasty. Only complaint was it was a little bit pricey and the portions were smaller than we expected. But it was good enough that we would definitely eat there next time we want Chinese.

We’ve always thought highly of this restaurant. Sadly, not anymore after last night’s dinner! Prices were too high. Portions were too small. And tastes were terrible: Mongolian lamb too sweet … chicken cashews too bland and almost tasteless … roast duck too salty – all in all, an awful experience! Won’t be back unless they change the prices, portions and preparations.
