The atmosphere was lovely – we sat at a window bench looking out to the street. The food was very tasty and well presented. The service started off really attentive however once our mains were delivered to our table we didn’t see or hear from any one again. We would have more than likely sampled the desert menu and maybe even had another cocktail, however those opportunities were not forthcoming. We had to track someone down to settle our bill. We didn’t want to be “helicoptered’ over however a polite check-in from time to time would have gone a long way. Our booking was for 1.30pm so perhaps we had outstayed of welcome. Maybe this was the universe’s way of saving us a few calories and a few dollars…..

I recently visited Bang Bang Byron Bay and was blown away by the experience. The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere with an industrial chic decor, and the high ceilings give it a spacious and open feel. The warm lighting and comfortable seating added to the overall ambiance.

Had very high hopes but was the only meal we had in Byron that left us quite underwhelmed. The place is beautiful and the staff are professional and friendly. The starter was good. However our mains took more than 50mins to arrive (after 1-2 reminders) and what did come was ordinary at best and not at all with the price tag. Hope others have a better experience.

Bang Bang is a wonderful dining experience in Byron Bay. The staff work so hard and ensure the customers experience is of a quality equal to the food. The Popcorn Chicken starter and Pad Seuw main were amazing and went well with a glass of Austrian Riesling. I recommend booking a table so you don’t miss out.

Visited during Saturday lunch and it wasn’t busy at all. Very chill vibe and friendly staff. Ordered the Korean fried chicken based on all the reviews. It was quite good but not amazing. All other dishes were quite good too. It is on the pricier side, but you get quality food, good service and good ambience.

Was beautiful food and a lovely atmosphere. We sat outside which was great as we had the kids and inside was a little loud for us.

We shared the Bang-Quet which had some of our favourite dishes. Desert was a total letdown ending. Our seating near the bar was a hot and noisy. While the service was good, there was confusion causing frustration over simply misunderstanding of our order. This super busy expensive restaurant should have less tables to truly cater to its patrons experience. It’s nowhere as good our last experience.
