Maybe I got the cook on a bad night, but my Sweet & Sour Combination was not good enough at all. The sauce was quite bland, the prawns tough, and the beef had a strong “gamey” taste … but overall, not much flavour in the dish. The steamed rice was OK. It was not a cheap meal either.

We ordered a meal from Auroras on Wednesday night. At the time of ordering we were told that it would be 90 minutes for delivery. We agreed to that, after 2hrs we called to find out where it was to be told they’d have it to us as soon as possible, called again after 2.5hrs and told the same thing. Our food was finally delivered 3 hrs after placing the order. This was after 9.30pm! The food was delicious when we finally got it, but there was no real apology for the excessive delay.

Get a flyer in the mail and thought I would give them a go. Rang through order at 5.53pm and told ready at 6.35pm arrive to pick up paid and told to wait in the car. At 6.55 still waiting cancelled order and went to the Thai up the road. Wonder what the food is like but if I wait over an hour in a restaurant I leave and this is take away. If you tell me it’s going to be two hours when I ring I’m ok but not when I have to wait an extra hour plus after you give me a time. service is impotent.

Aurora’s, I love their food. It’s made as freshly as can be, with top grade ingredients. I’ve enjoyed numerous dishes there and never bad or late service. Very polite
