The food and service was impeccable! We ordered a lot of the small sharing plates. The menu is designed to be shared so the proportions of each dish was sufficient. The flavours were delicious – our favourites were the burrata, focaccia bread and octopus. It is a lovely warm restaurant with very attentive staff. Highly recommended!

Probably a 4.5, but as an appreciation for kindly fitting us in last minute, have bumped it up to 5. The food is very pretty and comes out very quickly. Plus Plus. Most of the dishes were also very good in taste. The Octopus was my least favourite dish as it was a bit chewy and had lots of chopped parsley scattered on it.

Absolutely wonderful meal! Well rounded palette experience. Great serving size for the banquet. Phenomenal service. Tudor was outstanding with his knowledge of the menu, wine notes and care. Would absolutely recommend as one of the only hatted restaurants in the mountains.

Wonderful relaxed atmosphere, attentive, friendly service and interesting, thoughtfully plated food. We had the shared plate, set menu ($90). Loved the chef’s choices and the order of service.

We recently had our wedding catered by Will and the team at Ateş. We’d dined at the restaurant previously, and always said having them cater our wedding would be an absolute dream scenario. Food was a really important aspect of the day for both of us, and we wanted our guests to enjoy a simply excellent meal, while still feeling like they had been invited over to our place for a family gathering. Happy bellies = good vibes in our book, and that was a non-negotiable for our wedding.

It was incredible. We sat and ate for over two hours (banquet) and were it not for space in our stomachs we could have kept going. The team were gracious and attentive. All the dishes were so delicious, well thought out and generous. The attention to detail for flavour combinations is also immediately evident. The duck was so impressive! Standouts for me were the beetroot and the rice pudding. (Team, please tell Will that when I said “that one dish could eclipse the others” absolutely doesn’t mean it was the only good one , I just have a fondness for those kinds of desserts.) Couldn’t recommend this place more.

In my opinion the restaurant is overrated. The atmosphere and Focaccia was nice. But all in all the dishes of our menu were way too oily, small and not very special. For 2 persons we got 3 leaves of salat to share, one scoop of icecream, one carrot or one sliced tomato with cream cheese. Unfortunately the main course a piece of fish was tasteless and with bones. Maybe we went there too late and that’s why we only got leftovers.

Sooooo delicious, beautiful service, lovely warm courtyard. We only popped in for entrees and bubbles as we were having cocktails and mains at Blaq (which we really wish we didn”t) the scallops, kingfish and artichokes were amazing! Will definitely be back
