Today we have made the difficult decision to close our restaurant until next Tuesday(25/01/2021) at the lastest. We feel it is the responsible decision as the health and well being of our staff and customers is of upmost importance to us.
Due to an isolated incident of a staff’s family member testing positive for Covid 19. We will be closed until next Tuesday for a professional and deep cleaning. And we are in the precess of having all staff members tested to rule out any possibility of it being on our restaurant.
For those who have an upcoming booking with us, we will be in touch as soon as possible.

Nice place to yum chai on the northern side. Food is above average, their large portions are worth every penny, and the environment is clean and cozy. The dum sum trolley is very nice. But, pls note that they don’t have many steamed dum sum options offered.

Was there today and I was completely shocked by how rude the staff was. The restaurant opens until 2:30pm and I came in around 2:15 to order some take away food. As soon as I opened the door, the old man staff just shouted at my face and refused to serve me (I did feel like garbage). My bad if I came in a bit late but still a smile and a sincere apology as a basic serving manner could have solved it all. The female waitress; however, was nice to me and she later offered to serve me. Overall, was a really confusing and unpleasant experience and would never come back again!

We dine at Aspley Oriental regularly. The prawn and coriander dumplings are delicious. We enjoy the bbq pork steamed buns. The Squid legs this time were a little chewy. We are dissappointed they no longer make the mango pudding. The custard tarts are delicious . Will go back.

It was a nice place with prompt service. The chicken feel were done well, a smoke flavour that’s different to other ones I’ve tried. The tripe was a bit lack luster, no real flavour even though it was cooked well. The buns and dumplings were good but nothing really stood out. It was satisfying but not memorable.

My friend invited me and my husband last week to have lunch there because she missed yum cha. I felt sad upon reading the majority of reviews which have the same context that never been rectified, “the PR of the senior staff including the owner” – it doesn’t take much effort to smile and try to speak politely; however, we appreciated the young staff who were sweet and polite.
