This place is absolutely amazing! The food is so delicious with great gluten free garlic bread and amazing casein free and gluten free almond slice with cherry sorbet! Chicken and beef was good too. We had amazing cocktails too. The atmosphere is great in the ivy lane. Will definitely be back here again!

Good for couples or small group as the whole place is quite tight. Tables tiny. Decent wine selection and cool to see the cellar walls. Food was overall good, on the smaller serving size and we think a la carte is better value than chefs menu.

Enjoyed a really good lunch here for a business meeting. Menu had a good selection of vegetarian options for entree, a bit limited for mains though. Seemed to be a middle eastern and Italian flavour to the dishes. Everything was well presented, prepared and flavoursome but not particularly wowed by any dishes. Service was a little absent.

I had a lovely leisurely lunch with a friend and the food was superb. We had the 9-dish taster menu, and the chef selected very complimentary dishes so we left feeling full and satisfied, not stuffed. The servers were pleasant and attentive without being overbearing. There was no rush to turn the table though they were busy. The atmosphere is very European side street Cafe, or very pleasant. My only criticism is the tables for 2 are quite small so the tapas style serving got a little cramped on the table. Overall, we enjoyed our meal, the wine selection was comprehensive, and the prices were very reasonable for a CBD dine in venue. I will return.

Atmosphere spot on. Nestled in a lane way just behind Angel Place with all the other Merivale establishments – sunset dinners are dreamy here. On to the food. I get that it’s small sharing plates but when steaks and pastas end up fitting in the palm of your hands, it really does make you think the mark up is for the location and vibe. It’s a wine bar with nibbles and even that could have been done better.

The food is delicious and great quality. The burrata dish is a must, and really liked the octopus, just wish the portion was a little more reasonable, it was much smaller than what one would normally get for the same price. The location really made it, with romantic laneway seating which was beautiful with the Christmas lights.
