Visiting Albury from Wagga and had two less than average experiences at other cafes in Albury before trying here. Definitely pleased with the decision and wish I came here first. Their chilli scrambled was amazing, a good solid portion and great spice level. Coffee was excellent too. Lots of seating, tables, booths or window views… Has it all. Would defs come back.

Probably one of, if not the best breakfast I’ve had while travelling. If you’re in town, this place is a must. Get the hash brown too, no matter what else you’re having it with!

It was very, very busy. The wait to get a seat is worth it. The meal itself was fantastic. I would recommend the chilli eggs and add a hash brown. It was amazing.

Drove from Sydney to Melbourne in the hope of finding good coffee there. Found the best coffee on the trip at this place. Ordered the chili scrambled eggs, delicious, I’m so full!

Waited at the door for 15 minutes with a reservation while multiple staff members walked past. When we were finally seated, what looked like the manager pointed at us and said “three, there” whilst simultaneously pointing at a table. Coffee was good and didn’t wait that long for it but food took over an hour and was definitely not worth the wait. Other staff weren’t very good either .

Travelling through, this was a lucky find. The staff are lovely and the food was excellent. The vegan option called Buddah’s Bowl was a total surprise and one of the very best vegan lunches I’ve had in a cafe.

Visited here from Melbourne. Albury was a halfway stop from Melbourne to Canberra for us and we were looking for lunch in this cute small town. The town doesn’t have many restaurants and cafes as they only have one main street, but we stumbled upon As Thick As Thieves and we don’t regret it. Food was delicious. One thing would be the seating area was quite hot (to be fair, it was a hot day, but maybe a fan would be great hahahaha). But overall, everything was good! Service was great too, super friendly people 🙂

Came here from Melbourne and loved it! Food tastes as good as it looks, ordered the big breakfast and every element was done perfectly especially the mushrooms, scrambled eggs and hashbrown which wasn’t your usual fried potato and sliced flat mushies. We got 3 different coffees and all of which were done amazingly as well. Great value for money, nice ambience and overall really lovely, happy staff which really put the cherry on top of our dining experience.
