Nice cafe, close to beach and continental pool. Good for a stop over refreshment. Decent food and good coffee. Service was a bit inconsistent. Had to get in to the restaurant and ask for cutlery to be able to eat shakshuka and muesli. But maybe my asks were just not understandable this day, when I felt a bit under the weather.

Aqua has a casual indoor/outdoor setting, which is slightly impacted by traffic noise, but has a nice view of the ocean. The food was good, our waitress was friendly & efficient. We didn’t have to wait long for food, although the 6 meals we ordered arrived in staggered order, which meant that some were ready to eat while others had to wait, but not a long delay between arrivals (thankfully). Meals were reasonably priced & good value. I would dine there again.

Dessert was the best part of our night out with friends. Service for mains was slow and didn’t worry us as we were happy to chat, but some aspect of staffing (probably kitchen) seems under-resourced.

You honestly can’t get better deal in Wollongong – delicious food (recommend the prawn linguine – super fresh prawns and very flavourful), amazing view and really decent prices for their big servings.
