Wow! Travelled from the Snowy Valleys and all we wanted was great coffee. Well! We got more than we bargained for! Firstly, greeted at the door by who we think is the proprietor, who asked if we had a booking (good idea to phone ahead so not to be disappointed). She did provide us with a table for two. The menu is extensive and quite a read (at least you know what you’re getting). Hubby had the Angus burger and I had the French toast. Both beautifully presented. Both ultra tasty too. Service was attentive and polite. The place filled up pretty quickly after we arrived, so that’s a great indication. Oh, and the coffee? Well, this did not disappoint . We highly recommend Alkalizer.

This was a great cafe in terms of vibe and food options. However I felt it was very expensive for what I had: $44 for an omelette, coffee and juice is wild. And don’t get me wrong, the omelette was good, but not worth what it cost in my opinion. That said if I’m in the area I will likely come back, the coffee is some of the best I’ve had in the area.

I’m always apprehensive about trying new cafes and breakfast spots but Alkalizer does NOT disappoint. This place deserves ALL THE PRAISE. Great taste, menu, service, presentation – Alkalizer does it all. The food was delicious, fresh and healthy! The service was also exceptional and staff are very friendly. We ordered the omelette pan and breakfast board. Both of which were very filling. Eggs were cooked to perfection & bread was very crunchy. Overall, loved the portions and it’s perfect for sharing!

We visited this cafe on our way through the area. This cafe is easily one of it BEST I’ve ever been too. I wish we could clone it and have it next to our home as I’d be visiting SO often!!! The food was AMAZING AND UNIQUE – seriously different to any cafe we’ve been too. Presentation was amazing, food was healthy and SOOOO delicious!!!! We wanna go back to try everything else on their menu. The coffee was also excellent!!! Customer service was impeccable!! Highly highly rate this place. Will definitely be back!!!! 10/10
