We had the mix grill platter which was amazingly delicious. Tikka and tandoori was the star attraction in the platter along with their two wonderful dips, fish and seek kebab was okey not the best. But tikka and tandoori chicken was top notch. Highly recommend the those two items also the bread was good (garlic naan)

Delicious, fresh and wide range. I have been looking for Indian food that hits the mark. Have tried a few Indian restaurants lately. Prior to Aangan most food we tried was stale, not tasting right and used weird substitutes. Aangan was recommended by friends luckily. All the dishes hit the spot including the Ras Malai dessert cake

Ordered goat briyani for takeaway that was $19 on the menu then was told it was $20. So ordered the chicken briyani which was still $18 as it was stated on the menu. Was ready in about ten minutes. Large serving of briyani rice with one drumstick and thigh, half boil egg, one circle of onion rings, wedge of lemon and one small cup of ratna. Briyani was tasty, spicy and not too greasy. Chicken was tasty and fell off the bone but sometimes dry in parts. Might try the goat briyani if they price it right next time.

Aangan Footscray is our favourite restaurant in Melbourne yet. Always on point- customer service and taste 10/10. If you are looking for authentic Indian taste this restaurant is a must visit.

Not bad. The food didn’t really have a wow factor and the mango lassi tasted very artificial. The Pani Puri was probably the most boring i’ve ever eaten. Not much involved but potato. Food came out very fast, so that was a plus, but we were seated by a wet floor sign and a pile of disorganised items that probably should have been in a cabinet somewhere.

We got there at 7:30 and did not eat until 8:50pm, this was a Thursday night. The food was nice but not incredible but my mango lassi was not great, it had a strong artificial flavour. My butter chicken was also average as and I paid $24 for a small plate, no rice nothing, it appeared to be less than 300 grams with a few chicken bites. It just wasn’t worth it. But there was a lady who was managing the seating etc and she was really lovely.

The food here is tasty but isn’t the same as it used to be before. The quantity is ok . Surprisingly all the dishes were salty so today it wasn’t worth visiting here. This restaurant isn’t spacious too.

Prior to visiting this place, I tried to do my homework. I asked around what to get. Butter chicken, Biryani, chicken 65, and couple more dishes were recommended. I got those and also tried their lassi.
