Its my first time to have the Spicy Chicken Biryani rice meal and I love it. The Cheesy Garlic Naan was delicious. The Butter Chicken was average, Southern Delight at Hermit park for me has the best tasting Butter Chicken in town. The service was good and the restaurant was clean. The dining set up here has more “class” compare to other indian restaurant. Definitely will come back and recommend this place.

This will be our go-to place to have our Indian fix whenever we are in Townsville now. The food, atmosphere, and service was fabulous. I am not normally too fussed with Indian food, but have to tolerate it from time to time because my husband loves it. This place changed my mind about how good it could be. The wait staff were very helpful and friendly. Dining in the fresh air overlooking Ross Creek was a lovely bonus.

Over a couple of days we strolled past most of the restaurants in Palmer Street. This one was always busy so we gave it a shot and were well rewarded. Excellent, very authentic, food, and very cheerful service. We particularly liked the paratha – obviously freshly prepared and it showed.

Absolutely the best Indian restaurant we have been to. The service was excellent all round and Ryan was super efficient and helpful. Wine list great too and across the board wine and food were all well priced. We only had one night in Townsville and couldn’t have chosen a better dining spot. Aalishan will be our go to whenever in Townsville.

I recommend this restaurant and hope to return. The food was very good, my only concern being the small bones in the goat curry made it difficult and potentially hazardous to eat, the flavour however was beautiful. Attentive, but not over bearing service. Give it a try.

I have been a regular at their Gregory Street restaurant since it opened and was excited when this one opened as well. The service is always quick and friendly and the food is always spot on and catered to your personal taste on heat preference.
