Because of high rating, I visited this famous restaurant on one Tuesday night, I would say: the higher the expectation, the greater the disappointment. The service and environment are good, foods look very fabulous，but tastes are just average level, really don’t know why many people like that. The red wine jus is very light, can’t active the taste of eye fillet, the stir fry prawn is too oily for me. Just say it again, standard taste of food with good service, is still standard, not outstanding, no worth to come again.

Excellent service, we came in at 1405 and rather than denying service because the kitchen would be closing soon, they did let us know right at the start that the kitchen would be closing in twenty min! This is unlike some of the other restaurants that turn you away when it’s close to closing hours. Well done 2740, that was very much appreciated! They have a lovely breakfast as well and a good selection of wines. The fish was great, and the coffees are good too!
